The reason for the B in reachability is due to the fact that I live in Flagstaff, and can't always make it to Mesa to do this. Nobody's fault, that's just how it is. The reason the sanitation rating changed from A last time to B this time is because I had never seen the restroom at Empire before this tournament. The store itself is very clean, but the restroom doesn't seem to be well-maintained at all. Doesn't really affect the tournament, but might be something to bring to the store manager's attention, if it seems necessary at any point. Once again, the scenarios got a B due to Recon Plus. I understand that there's always luck involved in any game that uses dice, but even the basic Recon scenario is more luck-based than anything else. It works in casual games, but like many have said, it's a hard scenario to do in a tournament and make it seem fair. Dice rolls for shots fired are one thing, but when the scenario puts you at the mercy of the dice for whether you win or lose, it raises the question of whether or not it should be used in a tournament. That said, the other two scenarios worked really well in a tournament setting. Although I probably won't be able to make it back until September, I'm looking forward to the next one. I'll probably be keeping up with what happens during the July and August tournaments. I really liked what I saw in the discussion of the other possible custom scenarios. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for those!
