Questions & Answers
Question: Why don't you just take 1 Euro per player and tournament?

Answer: This financing concept would the fairest and every player and organizer would accept it easily.

The downside of it is that it also has a lot of disadvantages:

Do you charge the fee before or after the tournament? Before won't work as you don't know how many participants will come. Who would pay the difference, if you announce a tournament for 100 players, but only 40 show up? If you charge afterwards: How to pick the total amount? Based on the results? What if an organizer doesn't enter them? What if he doesn't pay at all? He's done with his tournament.

Besides those problems the concept would be a nightmare for our accounting. There would be a lot of small amounts which require a proper invoice and book-keeping. This would lead to more input than output on our side. In addition we have to pay transaction fees depending on the method of payment. This makes small amounts less profitable.

Based on all those issues we decided to go for the Premium model. It may look "less fair" on the first look, but: one product, one amount, one time period, clean rules. This way we can minimize the additional work.
Question: Why don't you charge the players?

Answer: After thinking a lot about what we can do, we came to the conclusion that the only fair solution is to charge those users, who have the biggest benefit of our website: the organizers.
Question: We're a gaming club and organizing some tournaments. Do we need multiple Premium accounts?

Answer: We don't want to steal all your money, so you don't need multiple accounts. At the moment Premium accounts are strictly linked to user accounts. We won't kick anybody, who creates a "club user account" for now, BUT it requires a real valid name and address for the invoicing. This account can be used as the main "organizer" of your tournaments.

We're looking into a cleaner solution. So although we'll tolerate "club user accounts" for now, we may change our terms in the future as soon as we have a technical solution for this issue. This may include that we'll enforce user accounts to be real persons.
Question: What about multiple organizers for one tournament?

Answer: Only the main organizer needs a Premium account. Additional organizers can be added without any limit. The main organizer is the person, who creates the tournament on T³.
Question: What happens with tournaments which are created before May 16th?

Answer: Any tournament created before the given date will not be touched at all. The new rules only apply to tournaments added after the system change.
Question: The website was free to use for years. Why isn't this possible anymore?

Answer: We'd love to offer our service still for free, but we have to pay our own bills. The amount of time to keep the system running and support all the user requests has constanly risen. It's a small difference between 100 and 10.000 users. At the moment we just kepp it going, but we're eager to implement new cool stuff. Only earning some money will allow us to do this.
Question: The Premium system can be abused easily. You're dumb?

Answer: In theory a single user could enter all tournaments world wide.

We hired some trusted high elves who overwatch the account usage and report any abuse instantly to our orc mobs. Those will come and kick your ass, if you're trying to steal our pots of gold.
Question: Can I receive an invoice?

Answer: Yes, every user receives an invoice as a PDF a couple of days after the confirmation of the payment automatically send to his registered email address .

The invoices include VAT for customers from Germany or the EU. Business customers from the EU can receive an invoice excluding VAT by providing their VATIN.
