Österreichische Meisterschaften Warmachine & Hordes - Information and Rules

Welcome to the first Austrian Warmachine & Hordes Masters tournament!

This event will be held on July 25th and 26th in the Louis Braille House at Vienna.

Event Rules

Tournament Format:
The Austrian Masters 2015 will use the current Masters tournament ruleset by PrivateerPress, which you can find here: http://privateerpress.com/organized-play/masters
The following variants will be used:
• Format: 50 Points (Deathclock: 60 minutes per player)
• Each list must be played at least once. The lists do not have to be sent in advance. Please bring 2 copies of your lists to the tournament, where they will be checked. Be sure to include tier boni, bonds and objectives in each list!
• No painting requirement
• While front arcs are not required per the Masters rules, be warned that a judge may rule against your interpretation on where a model is facing if there are no front arcs on the model‘s base.
• Use of War Room is allowed

Tournament Info:
• Please bring English cards for fules references. Official tournament language is English. Judges will respond to questions in English unless both players (as well as the judge ;) ) are fluent in a different language.
• Please note that by the Masters rules, only models that count as „released to the general public“ are eligible for play.
• The following scenarios will be played:
o Round 1: Close Quarters
o Round 2: Recon
o Round 3: Incursion
o Round 4: Outflank
o Round 5: Destruction
o Round 6: Incoming – this round will be cancelled if there are less than 32 players signed up for the event.
• Model Conversions: If you worry that your converted model isn’t tournament legal, it propably isn’t ;). To make sure that no model has to be banned from the tournament, please send a picture to store@templatesandwidgets.com before the event. That being said, the Austrian Masters are no official PP event, and the Warmachine Police is not supervising the event ;).
• It goes without saying that you should not interfere with ongoing games that are not your own. If you spot a wrong rules interpretation please do not interrupt the players, but ask for a judge instead and inform him.
• Standard overall time rules will be used.

Please note that depending on the number of players there are currently 2 schedule variants for Saturday (either 3 or 4 games). The schedule for Sunday will not change, which should allow you to plan your departure from Vienna accordingly. Please also note that the „50 Washes of Grey“ painting competition will be held along the
tournament on Sunday. Players that signed up for the Austrian Warmachine & Hordes Masters are eligible to enter each and every category of the painting contest (one entry per category per player).

Saturday, July 25th - Variant 1 (32+ Players)
Registration opens 8:00, closes at 9:30
First round: 9:30 – 11:45
Lunch break: 11:45 – 12:45
Second round: 12:45 – 15:00
Third round: 15:00 – 17:15
Fourth round: 17:15 – 19:30
Dinner: 20:00 – open end

Saturday, July 25th - Variant 2 (max 32 Players)
Registration opens 8:00, closes at 9:30
First round: 9:30 – 12:00
Lunch break: 12:00 – 13:30
Second round: 13:30 – 16:00
Third round: 16:00 – 18:30
Dinner: 19:00 – open end

Sunday, July 26th
Doors open at 8:30
Fifth (or Fourth) round: 9:30 – 12:00
Lunch break: 12:00 – 13:00
Sixth (or Fifth) round: 13:00 – 15:30
Award Ceremony: 15:30 – 16:30
