Into the Under-Ekeren - Information and Rules

Welcome to the first tournament for Warhammer Underworlds, organised by the Tin Soldiers of Antwerp.

Ample parking outside the clubhouse!

In this tournament, we will be using the RIVALS format, with decks and warbands as they are released by Games Workshop up to the 31st of May 2024!!!

The tournament will consist of 4 rounds, each played to a Best of 1 format, and following the timetable as below:

Doors open at 9h30

Registration: 9h45 - 10h00

Round 1: 10h00 - 11h30

Round 2: 11h45 - 13h15

Lunch break: 13h15 - 13h45

Round 3: 13h45 - 15h15

Round 4: 15h30 - 17h00

Award Ceremony: 17h30

This timetable allows for ample and relaxed playtime, and some casual bantering in between games. It also takes into account that in case of an uneven number of registrants, the TO will step in as the reserve player in order to make sure everyone can get a game in, and still have time to do the points maths in between rounds. In case everything goes smoothly, this schedule might speed up a little once all results are in and next round pairings have been made.

Points are awarded by 3 points for a win, 1 point in case of a draw and 0 points for the unfortunate case of a loss. Glory Points will be noted for any tie-breakers as well as for a special price (see below).

Practicalities:

Registration is confirmed the moment the entry fee has been deposited:

Account: BE12 9790 6856 8392 on the name of Tom Murrath, please mention your name and underworlds event in the message. Payment at the door on the day itself is also possible, but please bring correct change in that case.

Entry fee: 7 euro

Drinks available at the venue, no own drinks allowed.

Food will be provided with some delicious hot-dogs and various other snacks.

Prizes:

Of course, we all play for eternal glory, but there is some other shiney stuff to be won!

Every participant will receive a resin Lethal Hex token to remember his day in the catacombs of Ekeren.

Both the Winner of the tournament and the player with the Best Painted Warband (voted by the players, the TO and the bartender) will receive price support.

A special price will be handed out to the player with the LEAST Glory Points scored over the course of the 4 rounds!

Finally, the band you register with is NOT binding, you can make your final decision until the evening before the event with all those fun warbands out there!!!
