1. Batman Miniature Game Turnier @ ch - Information and Rules

Welcome to the first Batman Miniature Game tournament in Switzerland.

Basic Rules
The 1.BMG@CH uses the latest rulebook, official errata (http://www.critskillpeople.com/bmgwiki/frequently-asked-questions/), and the official character cards. Addenda to the rules are included in the tournament pack. All miniatures used by players to represent their crews must be original miniatures by Knight Models – no alternative models or ‘proxies’ are allowed.
Each game will be played with a single player on each side, on a standard 90x90cm gaming area. Right now this isn’t an official tournament approved by Knight Models.

Rounds
The tournament will follow the ‘Swiss’ format, in which the participants in the first round will be determined via a random draw. In the two subsequent rounds, players will be paired based on their total accumulated Tournament Points (see later). The whole tournament lasts 3 rounds
If the number of players in the tournament is odd, the ‘spare’ player – selected at random – will get a ‘bye’ on the first round, and automatically proceed to the second.

Crew Lists
In a standard tournament, each player must choose his/her crew from the lists provided in the Batman Miniature Game rulebook, not exceeding 200 Reputation points and $1000. This Crew list must be submitted at the start of the tournament, and must remain unchanged throughout.
The list must be sent to martin.espinal@hotmail.com
Please use the http://bmg-builder.com/batman.html

Scenarios
In each tournament round, all players participate in the same scenario.
In a tournament, players may not select or use the Global Plan strategy – scenarios are always determined by the tournament organiser.

10:05-11:45 1st Securing Area 100 minutes
11:50-13:30 2nd Ambush 100 minutes
14:15-15:45 3rd Plunder 90 minutes

Results
The Batman Miniatures Game uses a system of Victory Points (VPs) to determine the winner of a scenario. In a tournament, the difference in Victory Points between the game’s winner and loser is used to determine how many Tournament Points a player receives, as follows:
VP difference at the end of the game:
- Between 0 / 5 VP → Draw / 2 Tournament Points to each player.
- Between 6 / 14 VP → Narrow Victory / 3 Tournament Points to the winner, and 1 Tournament Point to the loser.
- More than 15 VP → Victory / 4 Tournament Points to the winner, and 0 Tournament Point to the loser.
The player with the highest number of Tournament Points at the end of the tournament is the champion.

Tie-Breakers
At the end of the tournament, if one or more participants are tied on an equal number of Tournament Points, the following steps will be followed, in order, to determine the winner:
1. The player with the highest total number of VPs scored in all rounds is the winner.
2. If the tie persists, the player whose Crew has the lowest Reputation is the winner.
3. If there is still a tie, the player whose Crew has the lowest dollar ($) cost is declared the winner.
