Vienna Tabletop Masters 2017 - Warmachine/Hordes - Information and Rules

Hallo liebe Warmachine & Hordes-Begeisterte!

Am 08. Juli 2017 werden im Rahmen der Vienna Tabletop Masters 2017 die Wiener Warmachine & Hordes Meisterschaften stattfinden. Austragungsort wird der Veranstaltungsssaal des Louis Braille Hauses sein (Hägelingasse 4-6, 1150 Wien). Das Turnier ist auf 16 TeilnehmerInnen beschränkt.
Die Startplätze werden nach dem "first come, first serve"-Prinzip vergeben. Das heißt, wer zuerst die Teilnahmegebühr (10€) bezahlt, bekommt einen Startplatz. Details zu den Zahlungsmodalitäten (bar, Überweisung, PayPal) findet ihr weiter unten.

Jede Person, die Interesse an einer Teilnahme hat, kann sich entweder hier oder in diesem Thread vormerken lassen. Die Anmeldung wird erst wirksam, sobald die Teilnahmegebühr bezahlt wurde ("first come, first serve"-Prinzip beachten!!!).

danach Siegerehrung

Sollte nach 3 Spielen schon ein eindeutiger Sieger feststehen, wird das Turnier an dieser Stelle beendet und die Siegerehrung vorgezogen. Danach stehen die Tische noch für Casual Games zur Verfügung.

Die Spielzeit wird nach Deathclock gemessen. Pro Turnierrunde stehen dem Spieler bzw. der Spielerin 60 Minuten zur Verfügung.

Die Szenarien werden vor der jeweiligen Runde bekannt gegeben.

Die finalen Platzierungen werden nach Steamroller gereiht, also Turnierpunkte -> SoS -> CP -> VP.


Mitzubringen sind:

+ Bis zu 2 Listen einer Fraktion je 75 Punkte mit unterschiedlichen Warcastern/Warlocks.
Es sind nur die Modelle erlaubt, die bis zum 07. Juli 2017 auch schon regulär käuflich zu erwerben sind. Prereleases sind nicht erlaubt. Proxies sind in Ausnahmefällen gestattet, doch es muss die Turnierleitung/der Gegenspieler/die Gegenspielerin VOR dem Turnier/Spiel darüber informiert werden. Die geproxten Modelle müssen eindeutig erkennbar sein und dieselbe Basegröße wie das Originalmodell besitzen. Die Regeln der Modelle müssen beim Turnier vorhanden sein.

+ Maßband, Würfel, Schablonen, Karten und Tokens für Focus bzw. Fury und sonstige Spieleffekte. Alle Tokens sollten der Übersicht halber bei ihren entsprechenden Modellen/Einheiten platziert werden.

+ Wir haben Timer zum Messen der Spielzeit zur Verfügung. Man kann jedoch auch eine eigene Schachuhr bzw. SchachuhrApp zur Zeitmessung heranziehen.

+ Es sollte zwar selbstverständlich sein, doch wir wollen es nochmals betonen: Zuschauer noch laufender Spiele sollten mit den Spielern nur in einer Sprache kommunizieren, die FÜR BEIDE SPIELER dieser Partie verständlich ist. Generell sollten Gespräche zwischen Zuschauern und Spielern nach Möglichkeit vermieden werden. Sollten Zuschauer eines laufendes Spiels auf unkorrekte Regelauslegungen/Strittigkeiten/etc. aufmerksam werden, sollten sie unverzüglich einen TO/Judge informieren!

The Warmachine & Hordes Vienna Masters takes place on July 8th 2017 during the Vienna Tabletop Masters 2017 at the Louis Braille Haus (Hägelingasse 4-6, 1150 Vienna). The tournament is limited to 16 players.
Entry fee is 10€. Tickets are given out on "first come, first serve"-basis. The sooner you pay the more likely you get your ticket. The time of preregistration is not relevant for this. DDetails on payment options (cash, money transfer, PayPal) can be found below.

You can preregister via T3, posting in this thread or sending me an email ( stefan [dot] riegler3 [at] chello [dot] at ). Keep in mind that you only secure your ticket as soon as you pay.

For our international guests: please, send me an email if you want to participate. Communication is easier for both parties that way.

Award ceremony afterwards

If there was an undefeated player after the third round, the tournament would end prematurely and the award ceremony would move up in schedule. There are going to be tables for casual gaming after the award ceremony.

Gaming time is measured via Deathclock. Each player has 60 minutes gaming time per round.

The scenarios are announced at the beginning of each round.

The final standings are determined via Steamroller (tournament points -> SoS -> CP -> VP).


Participants should bring:

+ Up to 2 lists á 75 pts with different Warcasters/Warlocks of a single faction.
Allowed are only models that are officially released till July 7th 2017. Prereleased models are not permitted. Proxies for existing models are permitted in exceptional cases but the player has to inform the tournament organizers AND his/her opponents before the start of the tournament/game. The proxed models must be unmistakeabley recognizable and must use the same base size as the original model. The rules of the models have the be present at the tournament.

+ Tape measure, dice, templates, cards, tokens for focus/fury and all other relevant game effects. Tokens should be placed next to the model/unti that is affected for the sake of clarity.

+ We have timers for Deathclock at every table but players are allowed to bring their own chess clock (app).

+ It goes without saying but we want to point it out once again: spectators should only communicate with players of an ongoing game in a language that BOTH PLAYERS of said game can understand. Conversations between players and spectators should be kept to a minimum during a game in progress. If a spectator catches a wrong interpretation of rules/quarrels between players/etc., he or she should immediately inform a TO/judge!
