HTL - Battle at the Kreidefelsen - Tournament Schedule and Scoring

We want to organize a really special event. A crazy location, a familiar atmosphere, free sleeping places and tasty food. We have all this at one oft he nicest holiday locations in Germany with the option to combine a tabletop tournament with a family holiday. We want this tournament to be bilingual and international so we hope for our Polish and Danish friends (and more).

1) Location

The tournament costs 22 euros until the 01.05.2017, after that date it is 25 euros. You have to pay before the tournament to get a guaranted start place. You get the booking details after you registrated on T3 for this tournament. If you cannot participate unfortunately, you will get your money back until the 01.05.2017.

The venue is the Weltenkonstruktorium, a big building in Rügen where you can find exhibitions for all tabletop systems you can imagine. It is a very young project so you will see nearly everything work in progress. This is a very special venue for a tournament, do not miss it!

In one oft he smaller parts oft he Weltenkonstruktorium you have the possibility to sleep. You need a sleeping bag and mattress, the floor is kind of hard. You can sleep in a tent 5 minutes away from the venue which is free as well but you will bring your own tent.
You can find toilets and showers in the venue for free.

Without a car it is not easy to find something to eat nearby, so we have a special offer for you. We hope that you like it:

You can get a warm lunch/dinner and breakfast for the next day for 8,50€ per day.
Offer 1: 09.06. dinner + breakfast 10.06.
Offer 2: 10.06. dinner + breakfast 11.06.
Offer 3: 11.6. dinner + breakfast 12.06.

Please pay for the offers when you pay the participation fee and give us information about which offer you want to take (e.g. 39€ for participation and offer 1+2, so the reference on the booking has to be „offer 1+2“)
Vegetarian meals are also doable. Please note that we cannot change the offers after the 01.05.2017. Drinks are available for a small fee in the venue.

The venue has different chill-out-areas, a barbeque and 2 swimming pools. Moreover, you will find a fitness area, skateboards and more.

The island Rügen is fine to have a nice holiday. There are beautiful beaches, the Störtebecker-festivals, the famous chalk cliffs and different hiking routes. Furthermore, we invite you to have a come-together in the evenings, drink a beer and play some more games.

2)Organisation
Responsible for the venue and the meals ist he Weltenkonstruktorium itself, the tournament organisation is done by Tabletop-Mania (organisators of the ETC).

Every participant agrees that he is in charge with any damages and/or accidents he causes and that he is financially liable for those damages. The organisation team does not take responsibility for any accidents! Moreover, Tabletop-Mania does not take responsibilty for any storno costs if the tournament cannot take place due to circumstances beyond our control.

Minors need a consent of their parents and need to be accompanied by an adult the whole time. The written consent of their parents has to be sent to Tabletopmania before the tournament.





Every participant is responsible for his own catering (except he booked one oft he offers), his equipment and valuables.

5) special rules
The tournament organisation will use the Swiss pairing system. TOs have the final word except the player can prove him wrong in the rulesbook. The evidence has to be brought by the player.
The gamind boards (48“x48“) will be created by the tournament organisators and cannot be changed by the players.
Organisators may take part in the tournament as players if needed.
The time table is definite. Tournament organisators will announce the last round played. All metrics are in inches.

You cannot take weapons or equipment from dead models except for banners. The passenger rule does not take place. If someone takes Tom Bombadil and Goldberry, the following rule takes place: If every miniature except Tom and Goldberry is killed, Tom and Goldberry return to their forest and the army counts as wiped out.

6) army composition
You have 555 points for your army and you can take between 5-45 models. Your army has to be built with the help oft he HTL allies list. You can play a good, an evil or a good and an evil force.

If a player with two armies encounters a player with a single army he may choose the army he wants to play. If both players bring two armies, a roll-off will decide.

There are no restriction on heroes except the allies list, so all-hero lists are legal. Proxies are forbidden, heroes which are used as another profile (Thorin, KutM as Young Thorin) do not count as proxies. The Gollum for 0 points is not allowed. Every army may have only 1 fell beast.

7) army lists
The organisators may refuse army lists. Please use the army sheet by the HTL (HTL-Armeebogen). The lists have to be correct and include all the equipment.

Please send your army list until the 15.05.17, 23:59 to info@tabletopmania.de. At the tournament the TOs will have a look at the armies. If there are discrepancies between the lists and the played armies you may get penalty points or – in worst case- you may be excluded from the tournament.

Please present your army to you opponent before the game. Every miniature has to be painted. Not or not fully painted miniatures cannot be used.

9) Scoring
Gaming points 140 Punkte
Army points 40 Punkte
In total: 180 Punkte

The categories are summed up, the player with the highest amount of points is the winner. In case of a tie the victory points will decide.

We use the Faßbender-point-system which converts the victory points in a fair amount of gaming points.
