Aemona Grand Tournament - Information and Rules

What is Aemona Open Grand Tournament?
The Aemona Open GT Warhammer 40k is a series of international tabletop gaming events. Aemona Open GT is an event dedicated for Warhammer 40k Singles and in future we hope that also Team play. First Aemona Open Series was hosted in september 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and it is planned to be annual event that will be hosted every year.
For Aemona open GT will be hosted on September 23-24 2023 for the second time in a row in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Althrough primarily catered to hobbyists around Slovenia and countries such as Austria, Italy, Croatia and Hungary, thanks to its position in a Heart of central Europe, Aemona GT also caters to players across many other countries around Europe. Our aim is to provide the total gaming experience to our guests under the sight of Ljubljana Castle which is one of the prettyest in the World.

For year 2023 we are hosting the Warhammer 40k Singles Championship which is also official qualifier for Warhammer World Championship in Atlanta.

Aemona Open GT Mission Statement

Our mission and value for the Aemona Open GT are simple:
- Firm but fair play, as in challenging our opponents to the best of their abilities on the tabletop while treating them as how we would like to be treated, such as playing by intent.
- To be welcoming to all newcomers and returning veterans to the hobby, as long as they do not seek to change the community they are coming into for personal or political goals. We enjoy our hobby and the community we have, thats why we participate in it. This community is just for players who want to enjoy their tabletop gaming.

Army List
An army consists of a maximum of 2000 points (strike force), not a single one more and must be assembled according to the rules of the "Grand Tournament 2023 Mission Pack" 10th Edition.
All publications up to september 8th, 2023 are used
. Legends and index selections are not allowed .

The army list must contain the following:
• Listing of all units in the corresponding contingents
• List of all equipment that costs points or is optional
• Warlord including Warlord ability
• Warlord enhancements
• enhancements used on other models
• Free relic and
• Total command points

The army list MUST reach us correctly by the deadline (e-mail gw app File and tourney keeper). Early submission is highly recommended.

6.Tournament Procedure:
Playing time per round is 3 hours, with 2 hours and 45 minutes being pure playing time and 15 minutes for follow-up and submission.

08:30 – 08:45 Registration
08:45 – 09:00 Welcome
09:00 – 12:00 1st round,

12:00 – 12:45 Lunch break
12:45 – 15:45 2nd round
15:45 – 16:00 Break
16:00 – 19:00 3rd round
19:10 – 21:00 Hang out at the bar, meet and greet

Day 2
9:00 – 12:00 4th Round
12:00 – 12:45 Lunch Break
12:45 – 15:45 5th
16:00 – 16:30 Award Ceremony

1st Round – AGT 01 – Priority Tragets+ Hidden Supplies + Search And Destroy
2nd Round – AGT02 – Sites of Power + Chilling Rain + Hammer and Anvil
3rd Round – AGT03 – The Ritual + Scrambler Fields + Sweeping Engagement

Day 2:
4th Round – AGT04 – Purge The Foe + Chilling Rain + Crucible of Battle
5th Round – AGT05 – Take And Hold + Chosen Battlefield + Sweeping Engagement
