Rules and Gamesize
- The games will be played with the latest rules of The ninth age (alpha and beta books are allowed)
- Game Size is 4500pts
- Supplement armies from 2022 are allowed (right now only hobgoblins are still from 2021 and therefore not allowed)
- Giant supplement is not allowed
- maps will be randomized by the tournament organizer before the first game and the maps on the table are supposed to stay like they are
- Secondary objectives and deployment will be randomized before each game by the tournament organizer for the whole round.

Timeline:
8:30 Venue opens
9:00 first game
12:00 lunch
13:00 second game
16:00 break
16:15 third game
19:15 trophy ceremony

Play Time (those rules are still subject to change)
- playing for time is not mandatory but every player has the right to demand to play the game within our play time rules, to achieve a fair game between all players
- play time for each player is capped at 1:35
- If a player exceeds this gametime and the game is not finished within the 3 hours, he will get a malus of 3 battlepoints
- play time is measured with chess clocks (we will provide a few) or an App on a tablet/phone
- The play time starts with the deployment. During deployment alternate the clock between placing units. Also do that for vanguard and scout. During the game you only alternate the clock on the end of a players turn.
- You are allowed to stop the clock during your turn when your opponent takes time to decide for a reaction. Those reactions are usually, holding or fleeing a charge, deciding what to dispell etc. You are not allowed to stop the clock for dice rolls of your opponent such as close combat, panik tests or armor/ward saves.
- if you have a rules question that needs some research or need a judge to rule something, you can pause the time

Hobby Points
- A miniature is considered to be painted if it has 3 colors on it and is based
- You will get Battlepoints depending on how much of your army is painted.
- 0% => 0 points
- 20% => 1 points
- 40% => 2 points
- 60% => 3 points
- 80% => 4 points
- 100% => 5 points

Prices
There will be prices for first, second and third place and we will also have a Best Painted award that is selected by the participants

Parking
Parking directly before the venu is allowed but the spots are quite rare. There is parking garage under the DHL building that can be used, also there is a second church with a bigger parking spot just a street up where you can walk the remaining meters. (Lindenstraße 1, 76327 Pfinztal).

Lunch
Lunc will be included in the tournament fee, please reach out if you are vegetarian or allergic to something! We will make a big pot of chili con/sin carne.
