Rhein Con 2022 Summeredition - Information and Rules

Nachdem eine globale Pandemie uns Hobbyisten in 2021 viel abverlangt hat, wird es Zeit an die Tische zurück zu kehren.
Am Wochenende vom 29.04.-01.05.2022 laden wir euch daher nach Düsseldorf ein um in möglichst großer Runde verantwortungsvoll Würfel und Miniatur zu huldigen.
Wir bieten euch an diesem Wochenende eine Warmachine/Hordes-Convention.

Wir beginnen am Freitag Abend und werden euch bis Sonntag Nachmittag in ca. einem Dutzend Turniere verschiedener Formate die Gelegenheit geben, Miniaturen und Würfel über die Tische zu schieben.
Das ist die vorläufige Turnierliste:
2-4 normale Steamroller
2 3-Spieler-Teamturniere
2-3 Casterdrafts
Speedmachine
2-Spieler-Teamturnier
Underdog-Brawl
Brawlmachine

Darüber hinaus wird es auch Spielplatten für Warcaster und Riot Quest geben. Wenn sich genügend Spieler finden, werden wir auch hier Turniere anbieten.

Con Punkte
Indem ihr möglichst viel spielt, verdient ihr euch Con-Punkte. Die 8 Spieler mit den meisten Punkten am Samstag Abend werden am Sonntag eingeladen zu unserem Masters-Event, in welchem wir den Con-Sieger küren.

Location
Spielen werden wir in der rustikalen Atmosphäre einer beheizten Sporthalle nahe des Düsseldorfer Flughafens.

Hygiene Konzept
Die Welt befindet sich derzeit immer noch im Würgegriff von Corona und wir können nicht absehen, was sich bis Mai tut. Deshalb planen wir bis auf Weiteres mit dem 2G+ Hygiene-Konzept.

Was bedeutet das im Einzelnen:

Wer keine Maske trägt oder den Anweisungen des Con-Personals nicht Folge leistet, wird der Location verwiesen!

Anmeldung & Kosten

Einfach das Formular ausfüllen und abschicken. Ihr erhaltet dann eine E-Mail als Anmeldebestätigung. Solltet ihr neben Warmachine/Hordes auch noch andere Spiele spielen wollen, könnt ihr uns das bei der Anmeldung mitteilen.
Die Startgebühren werden wir ab Ende Februar einziehen. Ihr werdet dann eine Mail mit den entsprechenden PayPal Daten bekommen.
Die Unsicherheit der Pandemie erfordert es, dass wir die Planung etwas anpassen, um bei einer möglichen Absage des Events durch die Behörden möglichst viel Geld erstatten zu können. Leider heißt dass im Moment auch, dass wir die genaue Größe des Events noch nicht kennen. Derzeit planen wir mit 64 Spielern.

The global pandemic asked alot of everyone in 2021. But now its time to get back to the tables. On April 29-Mai 01 2022 we invite you to Düsseldorf for a Warmachine / Hordes Convention.

We start on Friday evening and through Sunday afternoon we will offer nearly a dozen tournaments in different formats.
This is the preliminary tournament list:
2-4 normal Steamroller tournaments
2 3 man team tournaments

A 2 man team tournament
Underdog-Brawl

Furthermore we will have tables for Warcaster and Riot Quest. If enough players sign up, we might offer tournaments as well.

Con Points
The more you play, the more con points you will earn. The 8 players with the most con points on Saturday evening will be invited to a Sunday Masters tournament, where we will crown the champion of the weekend.

Location
We will play in a heated gym near the Düsseldorf airport.

Corona Protocol

The world is still in the tight grip of the pandemic. We don't know what will happen until Mai. That is why we plan with the 2G+ Concept at the moment.

What does that mean?
Masks are mandatory
Quick checks

Anybody not wearing a mask or refusing instructions from con staff will be expelled from the con!

After you register, you will get an email confirmation. If you want to play anything other than Warmachine / Hordes, you can let us know during registration.
We will start to collect the fee for the con in end of Mai. Once the payment period opens, all registered players will receive an email with the necessary PayPal data.
The pandemic forces us to adjust our planning for the case of a forced cancellation by the authorities. We plan in a way to be able to refund as much as possible in that case. Unfortunately, this means we don't know the exact size of the event as of now. We do plan for 64 players currently.
