Belgian Masters XXXL 2022 - Information and Rules

What?
Like last time, we aim to give you a weekend (Friday afternoon until Sunday evening) of wargaming fun, with several events lined up over the weekend, culminating into the battle for the crown of Belgian Master. We should have something fun for everyone: Steamrollers, Brawlmachine, team tournaments… You name it, we got it! And if we don't have it, we're open to suggestions!
A schedule will follow as the event draws nearer.

While there won't be any sanctioned events for other games, if you feel the need to play Warcaster, Riot Quest, Monsterpocalypse, or even MCP, we can't, and won't, stop you!

When?
Friday 04/03/2021 until Sunday 06/03/2022. We will start the first events after lunch on Friday and will continue until dinner time on Sunday.

Where?
Like the previous edition, the venue will be Ibis Styles in Kortrijk. The hotel itself is located at a business park next to the motorway, so is easy to reach by car. A free parking is available, as long as there is space. The city of Kortrijk has a train station with direct connections to Lille, and from there London, as well as the Brussels National Airport. It is also situated next to two well-connected motorways, so travelling by car should be relatively easy from any of the neighboring countries.

How much?
€80 for the weekend, this will get you access to the venue and all its events for the entire duration, as well as lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Your registration will not be final until we have received your payment.
The hotel will offer you rooms at a discounted price (€89/night for a single, €104/night for a double room, excluding city tax of €1.90 pp/night) for the event.

Food & drink
First things first, we'll of course have a fine selection of Belgian beers available at the hotel bar. Complimentary water will be supplied throughout the weekend at the venue.

Lunch (soup + sandwiches) on Saturday and Sunday are included in your ticket. Breakfast will be included in your room prices, should you choose to stay at the hotel.

Dinner will be possible at the hotel on Friday, as the restaurant will be open. We are working on coming to an understanding about a fixed dinner menu on Saturday and Sunday, but we will have to work with pre-registrations for this, as the restaurant would have to open especially for us. We intend to set up a survey to handle registrations further down the line, when we have more info.
Several restaurants are available nearby at the cinema complex, and there are of course also options available through Deliveroo, or takeaway.com

Covid?
As of now, most restrictions in Belgium have been abolished, but this could of course change on short notice. We don't foresee any difficulties, but we will keep you posted if anything should change.
