Belgian Masters XXXL 2023 - Information and Rules

What?
Like last time, we aim to give you a weekend (Friday afternoon until Sunday evening) of wargaming fun, with several events lined up over the weekend, culminating into the battle for the crown of Belgian Master. We should have something fun for everyone: Steamrollers, fun events, team tournaments… You name it, we got it! And if we don't have it, we're open to suggestions!
A more detailed schedule will follow as the event draws nearer.

When?
Friday 17/02/2023 until Sunday 19/02/2023. We will start the first events after lunch on Friday and will continue until dinner time on Sunday.

Where?
Like the previous editions, the venue will be Ibis Styles in Kortrijk. The hotel itself is located at a business park next to the motorway, so is easy to reach by car. A free parking is available, as long as there is space. The city of Kortrijk has a train station with direct connections to Lille, and from there London, as well as the Brussels National Airport. It is also situated next to two well-connected motorways, so travelling by car should be relatively easy from any of the neighbouring countries.

How much?
€65 for the weekend, this will get you access to the venue and all its events for the entire duration. Your registration will not be final until we have received your payment.
The hotel will offer you rooms at a discounted price (€102/night for a single, €120/night for a double room, excluding city tax of €1.90 pp/night) for the event. We suggest you get a roomie and bunk up!

Food & drink
First things first, we'll of course have a fine selection of Belgian beers available at the hotel bar. Complimentary water will be supplied throughout the weekend at the venue.

Lunch (soup + sandwiches) on Saturday and Sunday, as well as dinners (soup + main course) on Friday and Saturday, can be booked and bought separately. Lunch is €10 per meal, and dinners are €12.
All meals will be served by way of a buffet, so you can go eat when you have time between games.
Upon registration, you will receive an email with a link to a survey to mark which meals you will want to get.

Breakfast will be included in your room price, should you choose to stay at the hotel.
Note that if you arrive early, it will most likely be possible to eat at the hotel restaurant, should you want to.

Several (fast food) restaurants are available nearby at the cinema complex, and there are of course also options available through Deliveroo, or takeaway.com. We do suggest you eat at the hotel, as it will be easier, but the choice is entirely yours.
