OPERATION EPIC DAWN
2-Day Epic Armageddon Tournament!

Dies ist ein freundschaftliches Turnier für bis zu 8 neue und alte Spieler, die entweder lernen wollen, was dieses Spiel zu so einem dauerhaften Klassiker macht, oder einfach ein paar Tage damit verbringen wollen, in das Spiel einzutauchen.
Es wird 5 Tische in voller Größe geben plus einen kleineren Tisch für Neugierige, die die offiziellen Trainingsszenarien aus dem EA-Regelwerk ausprobieren wollen.

1. ORGANISATORISCHES

1.1 Zeitplan:
Der genaue Zeitplan wird zwei Wochen vor Turnierbeginn bekannt gegeben. Wir spielen 4-5 Spiele insgesamt in Abhängigkeit von der Gesamtzahl der Spieler.

1.2 Materialien:
Jeder Spieler sollte folgendes mitbringen:
Regeln, die benötigte Armeeliste, 2 leserliche und nachvollziehbare Kopien der Armeeliste (tabellarisch, mit Ausrüstungsoptionen), ausreichend Würfel, Maßband, die Miniaturen. Stift/Papier und ggf. Kleber für Reparaturen.

1.3 Verpflegung:Gegen Selbstkostenpreis können Getränke direkt an der Bar erworben werden. In naher Umgebung gbt es zudem Restaurants, Cafés etc.

1.4 Anmeldung
Die Anmeldung zum Turnier erfolgt über T3. Die Kontodaten für die Überweisung der Startgebühr werden bei der Anmeldung verschickt. Die Anmeldung ist erst nach dem Eingang der Startgebühr endgültig.
Die Startgebühr beträgt 15 Euro. Für das Überweisen der Startgebühr bis zum 31.10.2025 erhält man 5 Turnierpunkte.

2. TURNIERABLAUF

2.1 Armeeaufstellung:
Gespielt wird nach den Net-EA Tournament-Pack Regeln (https://tp.net-armageddon.org/)
Erlaubt sind alle Listen aus dem aktuellen NetEA Tournament Pack. Zusätzlich sind EpicUK-Listen erlaubt, wenn es keine entsprechende Alternative gibt. Jeder Spieler stellt eine Armeeliste von 3000 Punkten auf. Die Armeelisten sind bis zum 31.10.2025 in Textform oder als Emailanhang einzusenden und werden nach dem vollständigen Eingang an alle Spieler versendet. Für das rechtzeitige Einsenden der Armeelisten erhält man 5 Turnierpunkte.

2.2 Spielablauf:
• Bei der Anmeldung am Turniertag muss 1 Kopie der Armeeliste mitgebracht werden.
• Die Spieler bestreiten alle Spiele mit ein und derselben Armee. Das erste Spiel wird ausgelost, das 2.-5. Spiel wird nach dem Rang des Spielers zugeordnet.
• Vor dem Spiel müssen dem Gegenspieler eventuelle Sonderregeln der Armee, Ausrüstung usw. erklärt werden.
• Für jedes Spiel stehen 2,75 Stunden zu Verfügung. Zum Ende der Zeit darf nach Ansage der Turnierleitung nur noch die zuletzt angefangene Runde zu Ende gespielt werden.
• Nach jedem Spiel wird entsprechend der allgemeinen Turnierregeln bestimmt, wer das Spiel gewonnen hat.
• Jeder Spieltisch bekommt vor jedem Spiel einen Spielzettel, der nach dem Spiel auszufüllen und an die Turnierleitung zurückzugeben ist.
• Am Ende jedes Spieles werden die Armeelisten der beiden Spieler ausgetauscht und mit der Armee verglichen. Sollte es Differenzen geben, sind diese der Turnierleitung zu melden.
• Regelfragen sollten unter den Spielern geklärt werden. Ist dies nicht möglich, kann die Turnierleitung gefragt werden. Deren Entscheidung ist endgültig, auch wenn sie gegen die Regeln verstößt oder total schwachsinnig ist.

2.3 Gewinner
Es gewinnt die Armee mit den meisten Turnierpunkten. Bei einem Gleichstand erfolgt die Entscheidung anhand der im Turnier erfüllten Objectives

2.4 Gelände
Auf jedem Tisch stehen Geländeteile, dieses Gelände ist fest und darf nicht bewegt werden.
Die Spieler einigen sich vor dem Spiel auf die Beschaffenheit des entsprechenden Geländes.

2.5 Bemalwettbewerb
Im Rahmen des Turniers findet auch ein Malwettbewerb statt. Prämiert wird die bestbemalte Armee.
Der Gewinner des Malwettbewerbs erhält eine Urkunde.

3. SONSTIGES

3.1 Übernachtung
Ihr findet einige Hotels und Hostels, die verkehrsgünstig gelegen sind. Da das Venue direkt an der Ringbahn liegt, sind auch kostengünstigere Unterkünfte etwas außerhalb schnell erreichbar.

2-Day Epic Armageddon Tournament!

This is a friendly tournament for up to 8 new and old players alike who want to either learn what makes this game such an enduring classic or simply spend a couple of days immersed in it.
There will be 5 full-sized tables plus a smaller table for the curious to try out the official training scenarios from the EA rule book.

1. ORGANISATION

1.1 Schedule:
The exact schedule will be announced two weeks before the tournament starts. We will play 4-5 games in total depending on the total number of players.

1.2 Materials:
Each player should bring the following:
Rules, the required army list, 2 legible and traceable copies of the army list (tabulated, with equipment options), sufficient dice, measuring tape, the miniatures. Pen/paper and, if necessary, glue for repairs.

1.3 Catering:Drinks can be purchased directly at the bar at cost price. There are also restaurants, cafés etc. in the immediate vicinity.

1.4 Registration
You can register for the tournament via T3. The account details for the transfer of the entry fee will be sent out with the registration. Registration is not final until the entry fee has been received.
The entry fee is 15 euros. For the transfer of the entry fee by 31.10.2025, 5 tournament points will be awarded.

2. TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE

2.1 Army formation:
The game is played according to the Net-EA Tournament Pack rules (https://tp.net-armageddon.org/)
All lists from the current NetEA Tournament Pack are permitted. In addition, EpicUK lists are allowed if there is no corresponding alternative. Each player will set up an army list of 3000 points. The army lists must be sent in text form or as an email attachment by 31 October 2025 and will be sent to all players once they have been received in full. Players will receive 5 tournament points for sending in their army lists on time.

2.2 Game procedure:
- When registering on the day of the tournament, 1 copy of the army list must be brought along.
- The players play all games with one and the same army. The first game is drawn by lot, the 2nd-5th game is assigned according to the player's rank.
- Before the game, any special rules for the army, equipment, etc. must be explained to the opponent.
- 2.75 hours are available for each game. At the end of the time limit, only the last round started may be completed, as announced by the tournament organisers.
- After each game, the winner of the game is determined according to the general tournament rules.
- Each table receives a score sheet before each game, which must be filled out after the game and returned to the tournament organisers.
- At the end of each game, the army lists of the two players are exchanged and compared with the army. If there are any differences, these must be reported to the tournament organisers.
- Questions about the rules should be clarified between the players. If this is not possible, the tournament organisers can be asked. Their decision is final, even if it violates the rules or is completely moronic.

2.3 Winner
The army with the most tournament points wins. In the event of a tie, the decision is based on the objectives completed in the tournament

2.4 Terrain
There are terrain pieces on each table; this terrain is fixed and may not be moved.
The players agree on the nature of the terrain before the game.

2.5 Painting competition
A painting competition also takes place as part of the tournament. The best painted army will be honoured.
The winner of the painting competition will receive a certificate.

3 MISCELLANEOUS

3.1 Accommodation
You will find several hotels and hostels that are conveniently located. As the venue is located directly on the Ringbahn railway line, cheaper accommodation a little further out is also easily accessible.
